Abstract Body:

In recent times, Lithium Niobate has garnered considerable attention due to its remarkable nonlinear properties, which can be effectively manipulated through practical domain engineering techniques. To overcome the inherent speed limitations associated with conventional optical polling methods, we have devised an innovative two-step approach. Initially, we strategically place markers, followed by inducing a simultaneous inversion of domain polarization around all markers. Central to our method's efficacy is the introduction of a novel space-charge field alongside the traditional thermoelectric and coercive fields, offering a fresh perspective distinct from existing views. Moreover, we aim to demonstrate the versatility of our technique through its application in nonlocal domain erasure and inscription, as well as in the fabrication of 3D nonlinear photonic crystals. These crystals boast multifunctionality, enabling both beam shaping and conversion, as well as facilitating optical tweezing functionalities. Furthermore, we delve into the intricacies of nonlocal domain manufacturing, exploring scenarios such as the impact of introducing defects along the pathway between markers and the induction laser.
