Our Venue

ICANS30 will be hosted at The University of Manchester, UK. The University has a pedigree of delivering world-changing research from the splitting of the atom by Rutherford, the world’s first programmable computer through to the isolation of graphene. The history and heritage of the University can be explored on the website here and during ICANS30 you can explore more of the historic campus and visit some of our world-leading research facilities.

The conference will take place within the latest addition to the campus, the £400 million Engineering Campus Development opened in 2022. Adjacent to the National Graphene Institute, and situated close to the Henry Royce Institute and Photon Science Institute, this places the conference at the heart of a vibrant and internationally leading advanced materials and devices research community.

Conference registration, tutorials, symposia, poster sessions and exhibits will be co-located within the fully accessible Engineering A building. If attendees have any specific accessibility queries please contact us in confidence to discuss.
